Mt. Cudi

Mt. Cudi (pronounced "Judy") is located in Southeastern Turkey along the Turkish/Iraqi border, approximately 150 miles from Mt. Ararat. This mountain is a popular Ark landing place with many Muslims, as the Koran identifies Mt. Cudi as the landing place for Noah's Ark. Mt Cudi is a 7000 ft mountain and lies within the Kingdom of Urartu.

We don't know if Mt. Cudi was the final resting place of Noah's Ark. If it was, there are no physical remains left (there is no permanent ice on the mountain and it has been photographically documented). More research should be done on Mt. Cudi using remote sensing technologies such as thermal IR.
